Frequently asked questions

This website provides you help with frequently asked questions about: CGI, our study, and the progress in general Just click here and you will find the answers. We’ve also added a basic glossary for 3D rendering and modeling to help you decide which services to choose for your project. Feel free to talk to our Online support or send a requirement if you have any questions.

How do we work?

What do I need to start on a project?
Just contact us. The first task is called a “test drive,” and it’s actually a test project that we perform when we first work with a client. It can be paid in advance or according to the 50-50 model - before and after the results.
How much does your service cost?
The cost depends on your project. For our pricing policy, you can see our price list, and to find out the exact price of your project, request an offer in the form below. You will receive the price in one day.
How can I be convinced of the guarantee quality?
We use a dual quality control system consisting of two levels. During the first level, project managers check the results according to our Artificial Intelligence Rendering Analysis (AIRA). During the second level, mentors once again evaluate the work in accordance with the aesthetic standards of study quality.
Which files do I need to submit to start on my project?
In general, you can send us any file format (hand sketch, video content). The most basic references are drawings, architectural or design sketches and mood panels. If you have the right idea for the project, you can send us everything you have. Perfectly, we work with the following file formats: - for plans and drawings - CAD format, pdf or any other vector format; - for finished 3D models - stl, 3ds, max, obj.
What do you mean by ``on time or for free``?
A timely guarantee means, that if you didn't receive your 3D renders on time, we refund you the entire payment, but you still receive the renders. To access the program of this unique guarantee, you must follow 3 conditions: make 100% payment before the project, communicate with your project manager once a day and actively comment on trial versions, revisions and adjustments within 12 hours before the deadline.
Is my information secure with you?
- We guarantee that any information about your company and projects won't become public in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which includes the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement); - We offer standard and extended copyrights for the visual materials you receive as a result; - We receive payments through bank transactions for which we issue an invoice with calculated VAT
How complex is the whole process?
Thanks to our user-friendly CRM system, all you need is to start the project, send brief information and maintain contact during the process. On the CRM platform, you can regularly receive information on progress and perform audits and approve the final outcome.
How will I communicate with the team throughout the process?
Our clients communicate with managers and project teams all the time through our network CRM platform available for all operating systems. You can ask questions, leave comments, and check progress at any time.
How many projects can you work on at the same time?
As much as you need! Sky is the only limit. Our teams will deal with a project of any scale and they can work on your tasks at the same time.
Are the updates really free?
Yes, updates on your project are completely free. By corrections we mean changes that are less than 30% of the project load. If the changes you want to make exceed this limit, then we consider it a new project.
What is the possible payment form?
Payment for the service is possible by bank payment transaction.
Can I pay after I get the results?
No, but you can pay half of the estimated cost of the project and send the payment with the other half after you approve the project.
Where is the company located?
Our office is located in Zagreb at the address Ulica Andrije Hebranga 34. The 3D format is an integral part of the digital agency L33T owned by the company Virtualne tehnologije d.o.o. However, you don’t have to come to our office to start working with us because we mostly work through digital communication systems. In fact, all you need to do is send a chat message or fill out a form on our website.
What is the expected duration of processing?
The standard processing time for an architectural design project is 1 week, while for an interior design project it takes 48 hours. The exact processing time depends on many factors - the number of reviews, complexity, details, etc. To find out exactly how long your project will take, contact us via the website and send a short description. Our team of experts will take into account all the requirements and provide you with detailed information about the expected processing time.
What are the business hours of Format 3D?
Our online support is available 24/7. You can call our manager at any time or leave a message in your project team’s chat.
Can I get a discount?
Please ask our project team manager to send you a discount proposal for the price of your project. We are always open to talk about the possibilities of a long-term partnership.
Can we become business partners?
Please don't hesitate to contact our manager with any questions about a partnership.
I already have a team of internal experts. Why do I need outsourcing services?
- We undertake large projects and bring results in a short time; - Your project routine is our passion - we will be glad to save you; - You don't have to pay us for vacation or sick leave, finance corporate training, rent equipment and think about how to occupy us when there are no projects; - Our workflow is simple - project managers take care of all the intricacies and connections between teams, so all you need to do is wait for the final results.

Terminology

360° Virtual reality tour
A collection of 360-degree rotating panoramic images, put together to create a full 360 ° view of the location.
3D modelling
The process of creating a representation of objects in three dimensions using 3D modeling software. The resulting product is called a 3D model.
3D display
The process of generating a photorealistic or non-photorealistic image with 3D models using 3D rendering software. The result of the product is called a 3D render or 3D display.
AI display analysis (AIRA)
The AIRA (Artificial Intelligence Render Analysis)is a tool based on artificial intelligence developed by our experts for the most accurate and efficient quality control of our displays. It allows automated analysis of the geometry, texture, lighting and composition of 3D models and quick detection of all major flaws.
Ultra HD 4K
Ultra HD 4K images are ultra high resolution images. We give you a high quality picture of 3840 × 2160 pixels that will fit perfectly in a widescreen HDTV (16: 9) for full screen viewing and an impressive presentation of your project.
Virtual stage
A type of domestic stage scene (also called a digital stage scene) in which interior and exterior design is created in 3D rendering software, virtual stage applications, or graphic editors.
VR or Virtual reality
An artificial environment that provides an interactive experience through the simulation of sensory events, such as sight and sound. Objects are digitally created and placed in a virtual environment so that the user can experience them as in real life - communicate with them, see their features and benefits, change options, etc.
VR tour
Simulation of an existing site, usually composed of a series of videos or still images. It can also use other multimedia elements such as sound effects, music, storytelling and text. The main difference of 360 ° viewing is that the user needs VR glasses or other VR equipment to enter and interact with all objects within virtual reality tour.
AR or Augmented Reality
Interactive 3D technology that enables the experience of an architectural object by covering its virtual display on top of the natural environment.
3D animation
The process of generating three-dimensional moving images in a digital environment. Careful manipulation of 3D objects is performed within 3D software to export image sequences giving them the illusion of animation or movement.
Visualization draft
By visualizing the draft we can show what the project looks like before the final presentation. The quality of lighting, glare, gloss, and material of objects is significantly reduced to save time and computing resources. You can see the whole composition in general and all the little details of the project to make the necessary corrections before the final display.
Overview plan
A drawing scale showing the view from above and the relationship between rooms, spaces, traffic patterns and other physical features on one level of the structure.
Panorama
Unobstructed and wide view of the extensive area in all directions. It can be an expanded image or a cyclorama of a landscape or other scene.
Post production
Composing a photo into a CGI scene or retouching a 3D render to achieve maximum realism. It usually consists of adding visual effects and detailed items such as cars and people.
